We’re excited to share with you that Coastal Plains Trucking now offers a virtual visit option for behavioral health care. This potentially life-saving benefit has been added to our insurance plan as a direct result of driver feedback.
Our professional drivers’ work that involves leaving their family and being alone on the road for long stretches of time creates mental and emotional hardships unique to their profession. Providing an option for virtual visits that allows them to have someone to talk to while on the road, as opposed to trying to schedule a visit on their limited days home, will be incredibly beneficial.
